A step forward into Singapore's future

Technology and Advancement

Singapore has ranked first in a 2017 Global Smart City study, showing technological competitiveness in a rapidly-changing world. Our party plans to uphold this golden standard to by investing in enhancing the technical skillsets and research opportunities of professionals as well as students.

The backbone of a "smart", knowledge-driven economy is good manpower. This is why for the current workforce, the party aims to provide access to skilling-up programs through individual funds capped at $2,500 for eligible participants. Exceptional researchers can also apply for special grants to work on groundbreaking projects. Our party believes that this will help citizens to exploit new knowledge to improve our living standards.

To prepare the next generation of leaders for an Internet of Things (IoT) era, the party has in mind to boost e-Learning capabilities in schools and saturate classrooms with pivotal gadgets. By equipping the next generation with updated skillsets such as deeptech or cybersecurity, our children are future-ready early on to tackle an increasingly advanced world.

With these two leading initiatives, Singapore can future-proof itself by staying ahead in digital innovation capabilities to support national priorities, making way for new jobs and economic opportunities.
